Honda to target younger U.S. buyers

Honda must be freaking out watching stodgy Toyota break into the American youth market with Scion. The reliable car company plans to introduce a new entry-level vehicle that will hit our shores in 2006. Honda says the car will be priced below the Civic and is one of a batch of new vehicles Honda is looking to launch in the next few years including the Honda SUT sport-utility truck and a new Odyssey minivan. Honda could easily retool the Fit pictured here that is already sold in Japan, and hopefully rename it. Honda is also looking to better gas mileage across the board.
