Unlike in the United States it seems the Japanese really do arrest their corporate criminals. Former Mitsubishi President Katsuhiko Kawasoe, pictured here, was nabbed for covering up defects that led to a fatality. If that sounds bad five other executives were also arrested. Oh and just so you don't get confused this is completely separate from the investigation that came to light last week in a different accident. No wonder Daimler Chrysler doesn't feel like investing more money in Mitsubishi.
