Spy photos of the Volvo V90 slip out of Volvo headquarters in Hisingen, Sweden. It's a beautiful wagon that looks like it will be well worth the wait.

Neither the Volvo S60 nor the Volvo XC60 are that old, but the Swedish automaker is wasting no time ensuring that two of its most popular products don't get stagnant on the market, a fate that has befallen some of the other products it offers.

The gestation period for a new Volvo model has always been rather languid. Back in the 1950s, when tailfins were making annual progress toward low earth orbit, Volvo was cranking out PV444 and 544s.
