Three guys from Finland's Stunt Freaks Team drift in the snow with a Triumph Daytona on snow tires, a Porsche 911 GT3 rally car and a Polaris snowmobile. Because Finland.

Alex Ross of SharkWerks makes Porsches faster. Magnus Walker makes them look cooler. They first met at Jay Leno's Garage, dreamt up the 997 GT2 you see here and brought it back to where it all started to show Jay how it turned out.

The latest video from Porsche shows the new Cayman GT4 ticking off the neighbors and sliding its way around the Nürburgring.

Top Gear magazine managed to get the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder together on the same stretch of road, and released this video clip previously reserved for digital subscribers.

Porsche knows that to keep up, a model has to keep evolving. For the latest 2015 evolution of the Cayenne Turbo S on display at the Detroit Auto Show, it now packs integral turbos housed directly in the exhaust manifolds. The move allows power to grow to 562 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, while shedding a half-second off the sprint to 60. The German brand also claims that the improved version can lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in a blink less than eight minutes.

Over two decades before Motor Trend had a similar idea, in 1983, MotorWeek compared the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 to the Porsche 928S. At the time, the Camaro was America's best-selling sports coupe and the 928S was Porsche's top-of-the-line model that also happened to have the highest top speed of any car sold here.

No music track, no dialogue, no voiceover, just ten minutes of a group of women and men in a very clean room in Zuffenhausen assembling the Porsche 918 Spyder.

Take a tour of the Porsche 911 engine factory in Zuffenhausen, Germany, as the company's flat-six mills are made in this video. The place is hypnotic in its efficiency to watch each part slowly come together to create these famously fantastic mills. Hardly any noise rises above the hum of the assembly line.

If you're looking for an automotive investment and have a few hundred thousand dollars to burn, then you might want to look away from Ferrari and towards Porsche. The 1973 Porsche Carrera 2.7 RS is the highest appreciating car of the last 10 years, at least in the UK. The value of these homologation specials is up 669 percent in just the last decade.

Motor Trend tests the Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3 in the latest episode of Head 2 Head. That's a 7.0-liter V8 versus a 3.8-liter flat-six, 505 horsepower vs. 475 hp, 3,882 pounds vs. 3,267 pounds, and an as-tested price of $76,150 vs. $145,785. It isn't exactly fair, but it's totally fun to watch.

The Wall Street Journal's Dan Neil takes aim at the celebrity cars of 2014, including Lincoln's tie-up with Matthew McConaughey, Floyd Mayweather's Bugattis and Jerry Seinfeld's Porsche 918 Spyder.

Porsche calls it the "Magic Mirror," but it's less a reflective device and more 12 high-def screens that track drivers pulling into the valet area at a mall in Los Angeles. As they pass the screens in their cars, they get to see what they'd look like pulling up in a Macan, Porsche's newest and smallest crossover.

In the same month that Porsche announced that its 918 Spyder is sold out, Translogic is getting its first (and likely last) shot at the plug-in hybrid hypercar. Our drive starts off in a very civilized fashion as we tour the 918 Spyder's e-power and hybrid modes, but the fun really starts when the naturally aspirated 4.6-liter V8 engine roars to life in sport and race hybrid modes, augmenting the electric motors with an additional 608 horsepower for a total of 887.

Almost two years ago we wrote about the 12-Gauge Garage Jack Olsen built to house his multifarious Porsche 911 - its 1972 bodywork hides four decades of Porsche parts, like the transaxle from a 1977 911 and the engine from 1995 911, for example. It weighs 2,400 pounds and has 272 horsepower, and Olsen uses it daily driving and for track days, the latter excursions featuring homemade, bolt-on aero parts.

If you haven't looked recently, prices for many vintage Porsche 911s are now well out of the realm for mortal men to purchase. However, the growing values have their advantages because they mean that the 912 is being better accepted as a member of the Porsche family. In a new video, Petrolicious talks to one owner about his mildly modified example while the coupe zips through the backroads and city streets of France.

If you're thinking about Porsche and Mercedes-Benz when it comes to motorsports, your first thought is probably on the two German brands battling on the track. However, for decades, whenever Porsche's factory team went to compete, a custom Mercedes was right along with them hauling the racecars.
