The weather might be nasty, but Jalopnik is showing that the snow and ice can still be tons of fun too in the right vehicle. It took a quartet of performance cars to the Consumer Reports test track to go sliding around the slippery circuit.
Lexus will run a 30-second spot for the NX during this year's Super Bowl, while BMW announces it will be showcasing the i3 in a 60-second spot. Four other carmakers have announced plans to join the party, down from 11 carmakers who advertised during last year's event.
The BMW 1 Series hatchback might not be for sale in the US, but European buyers get to see a whole new look for the model later this year. The changes are modest at the front, with redesigned headlights being the most prominent tweak, but they help clean up the nose nicely. At the rear, the redesign is much more obvious and gives the hatch wraparound taillights and a new lower apron. A few engine and interior tweaks also complement the aesthetic changes.
