Acura is giving the RDX a refresh after just three years on the market. The front and rear feature sharper lines and LED lighting at both ends. There's a now a nine-speed automatic gearbox, and the 3.5-liter V6 has a little more power. Plus, the crossover is available with even more tech.

The revised 2013 Acura RDX has found at least one happy customer, and it's an important one: Consumer Reports. The editors at CR gave the RDX crossover their top rating of "Recommended" after Acura ditched the turbocharged four-cylinder that had served as the RDX's sole powerplant since its launch in 2006.

The RDX is new for the 2013 model year, so it makes sense that Acura would jump start the vehicle's launch with a new ad campaign. Honda's luxury arm went with the "Gulliver's Travels" theme, which of course demonstrates that the refreshed crossover is big and luxurious, yet not too big. Get it? Gulliver is a giant and yet the RDX is big enough for him... moving on.
