Drive a Land Rover Defender | The List #0166

The Defender is banned in America, so we drove one in England

If you had a choice between driving a vehicle that was not sold in the United States or tackling an off-road course on the grounds of an actual British castle, which would you choose? How about both! The List buckles in to a Land Rover Defender to take on the off-road challenges of the Land Rover Experience located at Eastnor Castle in England.

Hosts Jessi Combs and Patrick McIntyre learn what all the hype is about, driving the vehicle over varied terrain and through standing water. The Land Rover Experience allows drivers to put many Land Rover vehicles through their paces, not just the classic Defender.

After pushing the Defender through the course, Jessi and Patrick try their hand at driving the newest hotness from Land Rover, a Range Rover SVR. The Range Rover lives up to the Land Rover name on the off-road course, then is taken to a test track where it hits nearly 160 mph with Jessi behind the wheel.

The Land Rover legacy is long and exciting, and we're thrilled to be able to bring you a look at the past and the future of the brand on this episode of The List.
