A massive data leak has revealed the personnel files of hundreds of employees at Jaguar Land Rover's factory in Solihull, England. About halfway through, right as the water touched the top of the wheels, someone made a joke about electrocuting the fish in the Duke of Marlborough's lake with our 2019 Range Rover 400e plug-in hybrid. Despite the 400e's 35.4-inch wading depth — the same as every other Range Rover model — the thought of driving a hybrid SUV through a lake was disconcerting. In the end, the fish were fine. Land Rover is continuing testing of its updated Range Rover Evoque compact luxury crossover, and each time we see it, it has a bit less camouflage. The example shown above has the least yet, amounting mostly just to vinyl wrappings. This allows us to see most of the body without hindrance.

It should come as no surprise that the folks back in England have been working on a hot new version of the Jaguar F-Pace. Today, just ahead of the 2018 New York International Auto Show, the British automaker confirmed that the Jaguar F-Pace SVR will debut this week. It seems that the weather has once again improved enough that people are headed out to the Nürburgring for fun and for testing. This is according to a new compilation video of cars racing around the track from YouTube channel EMS Nordschleife TV. Though most of the cars featured are normal road cars, there are a few prototypes that slip in, including a Land Rover Range Rover Velar that sounds extra beefy.
