1987 Chicago Auto Show video on compact import scene is priceless

Since no one seems to want to follow my advice and erase all memory of the 1980s, every so often, I stumble upon something like this – a video showing the highlights of the 1987 Chicago Auto Show. And it's terrible. Yet oddly priceless.

This video shows off the very worst of the compact cars of the 1980s – I retched when the Pontiac Le Mans showed up. But there's a silver lining here: This video will really, really make you appreciate just how far the compact and subcompact car market has come in less than 30 years. Have a look.
