Bruce Wayne trades up to Lamborghini's newest bull – Click above for image gallery

Bruce Wayne has lots of toys at his disposal. Billions of dollars and Lucius Fox mean a near unlimited supply of pure awesome. Still, Wayne can't play Batman during daylight hours, so his ride has to be a tad more subtle than The Tumbler. In Batman: The Dark Night, Bruce Wayne drove a Lamborghini Murciélago LP640, which he used to save someone else's life. We won't lie, that scene caused the room to get a little misty. Thankfully for Wayne, his billions allow a new bull to take the Murci's place, and a Lamborghini Aventador appears to be the ride of choice for Gotham's favorite playboy.

A member of the Luxury4Play.com forums obtained photos of the Gotham-plated Aventador on the set of the new film. The aggressive features of the Italian supercar are strong enough that the two-door could become a villain in its own right. Thankfully, the good guy holds the keys. We also get a shot of what is said to be Wayne's new pad, which can be seen in the gallery below.

Batman: The Dark Night is expected to zoom into theaters next summer, Lamborghini and all.

But Clark Kent is just a journalist... Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark own corporations. So... that's like saying Peter Parker should drive a GT-R... not gonna happen lol.

Lest be honest. If you painted flat black the aventador and added a couple of gadgets it would be a batmobile.

God I love this car. To me it is the perfect match for Bruce Wayne. In a way it is almost like the Batmobile of the 90's.

"In Batman: The Dark Night, Bruce Wayne drove a Lamborghini MurciƩlago LP640, which he used to save someone else's life. We won't lie, that scene caused the room to get a little misty." It's "The Dark Knight", first of all, and second, IT'S JUST A FREAKING CAR. For crying out loud, you don't even know if that was even a real Murcielago(they make up dummy cars all the time so they can get crashed)! Get your facts straight, do some research, and man the hell up.

It's not the fact that it was a dumby car, it's the fact that it looks like a Murcielago that's been smashed to bits. It's the same for me as a Mustang fan, watching Eleanor taking so much damage in the chase scene and watching a Saleen Mustang being crushed in 2F2F when I knew beforehand that it was just a V6 Mustang with a bodykit.

Actually Lamborghini gave 3 cars for use in the movie. 2 of which were custom fitted with cages inside the car, and yes all 3 cars were real, as after the movie the 1 of the cars was auctioned off for charity.

Actually it was a real Murcielago. Lamborghini gave three cars to Nolan for filming. http://www.motortrend.com/features/auto_news/2008/112_0807_batman_the_dark_knight/index.html

Well, you learn something new every day. Color me surprised. But I'm not one to cry over a car. Human lives are infinitely more valuable than any piece of metal, no matter how good it looks.

Oh c'mon ... switch it up already. I'm sick of seeing Bruce Wayne in a Lamborghini. How about a Maserati GranTurismo or an Aston Martin One-77?

@ dvrt10 , Murcielago means "Bat" in Spanish, do you get it now ? also Lambos are way cooler and more flamboyant than pretty much any car.

A real man secure with his own identify would drive a Fiat 500 instead of some flashy ego car. Or maybe not.

'Bruce Wayne' is a selfish playboy, so a flashy ego car is perfect for him.

This is not fair. American hero batman should drive american car, such as GM Miray concept.

The Character 'Bruce Wayne' is no american hero, but a selfish playboy.

Batman isn't really an American hero. He's a rich playboy who guards the safety of one ficticious city, mainly for his own fulfilment and satisfaction. Superman is probably closer, but he saves the world and came from space. I have nothing against American cars, but a dark grey, bat winged, scissor door V12 Lamborghini just makes much more sense than anything this side of the lake. It also helps that it looks most like his Tumbler, too. If it's any consolation, Bumblebee from transformers IS an American car.

Bumblebee isn't an American car, he's a transforming robot from outer space that dresses like an American car. Come ON man!

Sea Urchin, don't worry...your name will always be associated with the phrase "big ass red bar". And I have no issue with Batman (Bruce W.) driving a Lambo. When he's Bruce, he's the ultimate jet-setting bouchedag. He should drive a wealthy bouchdag's auto of choice.

I'm pretty sure an average GM car is more reliable than a Lamborghini, nothing against Lambo's, there's just too much machinery to go wrong.
