Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Edition – Click above to watch video after the jump

We live in a world of decreasing absolutes. Our jobs have devolved from ones that demanded devout attention under penalty of maiming or death into occupations where any error can be erased in a keystroke. Everything about us is liquid – without certainty or foundation. Maybe that's why we love the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb so damn much. Up there amongst the clouds, one slip of the tiller will land you picking pine needles from your teeth... or worse. It's the same sort of insanity that draws us to motorcycles.

Ducati has effortlessly combined those two peculiarities of personality with its Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak Edition. The Italian motomaker has worked up a quick video of the bike on the famous hill climb course to get everyone all hot and bothered for the bike's release. Let's just go ahead and say "Mission Accomplished" on that one. Hit the jump to see the well-executed flick for yourself.
