2011 Audi RS3 gets the silent film treatment – Click above to watch video after the jump

We already let you know earlier this week that Audi has unveiled the 2011 RS3 five-door hot hatch, and now we have video of the sporty German schnell machine.

Unfortunately, this is not a video for those eager to hear the 340 horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter inline five-cylinder engine or the screaming of four abused rounds of rubber. The clip we have is more of a put-on-your-favorite-song and stare. The six-and-a-half minute clip gives you the a solid glimpse at the Audi RS3 both inside and out, but there is no sound nor fury to he had. Still, beggars can't be choosers and we will take a few minutes of virtual alone time over no time at all.

Queue up some tunes, turn down the lights and hop the jump to ogle the 2011 Audi RS3.

wonder what gearbox it will come with, it would be awesome if they managed to shrink the 7-Speed dual-clutch in there although a regular 6-Speed Man is sure to be standard (as in the TTRS) which is no bad thing

I'm not looking. I am sooooooooo tired of great cars they won't sell us.

I see A3s in the parking lot every day. What differentiates the RS3 is the "go". And their no "go" in that video.

agreed, idle and some rev'ing from the engine bay? exactly what you don't want to market, the off balance diesel like clatter of a straight 5. WHY not shoot it from the back. rrr.

Oh well, it IS a B real and not a commercial, there's still hope, it'd better sound 2x better than the MkIV R32 and about 60% as good as the groupe b ur-quattros.

Hell, what do i care. As light as the original 30 years ago? Power bump from the original? REAL Quattro AWD in something the size of the TT? That surprisingly focused interior?

        WANT.

Damn. Somehow "there's" + quick typing + spell correction = "their".

I wish there was a market for this car in the US. I'd love to go to the Audi dealership and stare at one wishing I could afford the payments.
