Beverly Hills' Greystone Mansion wants to show itself off, and it'll be doing so this year with the help of classic cars and Gooding & Co. The inaugural Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance will happen April 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature more than 100 cars and motorcycles, including Fred Astaire's 1927 Rolls-Royce and Rita Hayworth's 1953 Cadillac. Among the selections, you'll also find a 1938 1938 Talbot Darracq T23 Drop Head Coupe, a 1959 Ferrari 250GT Series 1 Cabriolet and a 1927 Bentley 6 1/2 Litre Tourer by Vanden Plas.

GOODING & COMPANY HONORS THE INAUGURAL GREYSTONE MANSION CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE BY BRINGING FOUR RARE COLLECTOR CARS FROM ITS PAST AND PRESENT

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (April 5, 2010) – Gooding & Company announces that, in honor of the inaugural Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance, several cars from its past and present will be featured at the event on Sunday, April 11 at the historic Doheny Family estate in Beverly Hills.

Concours attendees will have the unexpected opportunity to revisit two star cars from Gooding & Company's last two auctions – the stunning emerald green 1956 Nash Rambler "Palm Beach" Coupe Special with jet age Pinin Farina styling from the 2010 Amelia Island Auction and the 1959 Ferrari 250GT Series 1 Cabriolet by Pinin Farina that sold for $2.145 Million in Scottsdale this January.

"We're delighted to support our neighboring friends with the launch of their first Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance," says David Gooding, president and founder of Gooding & Company. "The historic Doheny house is a stunning site for people of all ages to visit and will surely provide a beautiful and special setting for this new Concours in Beverly Hills."

Gooding & Company will be displaying two other significant motorcars – a rare 1938 Talbot Darracq T23 Drop Head Coupe with coachwork by Figoni & Falaschi and a very special 1927 Bentley 6 1/2 Litre Tourer by Vanden Plas from President David Gooding's personal collection.

The exceptional and beautiful Talbot Darracq is available for sale via private treaty and will be featured for viewing at the Gooding & Company booth in the Courtyard together with the Nash Rambler "Palm Beach." The Bentley and the Ferrari 250GT will be participating in the Concours, available for view on the field.

About the Greystone Concours d'Elegance
The inaugural Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the historic former home of the Doheny family, a renowned 55-room estate and 18-acre park overlooking Los Angeles. There will be nine unique judging categories for participants and more than 100 classic automobiles and motorcycles will be on public display, including Fred Astaire's 1927 Rolls-Royce and Rita Hayworth's 1953 Cadillac on loan from the Petersen Automotive Museum.

Free parking and shuttle services will be available at the City's Beverly Canon Gardens parking structure at 241 N. Canon Drive. Tickets cost $100 a piece, which covers admission to the Concours, viewing of the vintage fashion show, an estate tour, entertainment, food and beverage, with a portion of the proceeds going to Friends of Greystone. Each ticket also acts as a future two-for-one admission to the Petersen Automotive Museum.
