Ferrari 599 GTO – Click above for high-res image gallery

The Ferrari 599 GTO was caught standing still in the steel, and to quote the Big Tymers it's a #1 Stunna. The 700-horsepower, top-of-the-heap beast with the 60-millisecond shifts and monster options list will be gracing out waiting eyes in the very, very near future. And in red, we're feeling even better about spending 430 large on it when we finally do see it.

Going to have to see more pics of this car, but I have not been a fan of recent Ferrari styling - especially their rear ends - and this car is no different.

Most older Ferraris had double round taillights that were very well integrated into the sheetmetal. The single taillight on each side on this car looks very awkward in my opinion.

Ahhh, Sir Mixalot... where are you now that we truly NEED you?

I never was a big fan of the 599 but I have to say if this sounds anything like the 599XX I heard a few weeks ago at Homestead I wouldn't mind the heavy, vette like styling one bit. Too bad I would have to trade in my house for one and still be short!

I'm sure it's an awesome drive but aesthetically it does nothing for me whatsoever.

I think it is one of the best Ferraris I have seen in a while.

It looks better than a stock 599... but I am not sure I would go that far.

It still has a bit of the dis-jointedness of the side lines, oddly busy front, and more than a bit of a booty, all from it's 'normal' 599 base line.

      It's a BEAST

Looks good with the black roof, should be a monster
        • 4 Years Ago
        No doubt.

Looks good with the roof blacked out...

Would look good also, with the A-pillar back to the buttresses were red, and the roof center glassy-black. Or jut transparent tinted lexan. :D

Well, like they due on some Audi and VW models and I seen the Scion TC and M3 Coupe with it, they black out the roof in the center. Not the door parts, just the center black or flat black. I think I seen some Lambo's done that way too.

      Acceptable.

I will always prefer the design of the 575M over the 599

It has all the grace and finesse of some random tuners chop job.

      Meh.
