It isn't every day that Aston Martin comes out with a new car. And this isn't one of them, because the production version of the Rapide four-door saloon came out over a month ago already. But considering that the British sportscar-maker got by – just fine, thank you very much – on what essentially boiled down to a two-car line-up for several years, we'll gladly run with it a little longer. Because there are few cars on the road that are as sumptuously crafted or lustily styled as an Aston. And this is their first sedan in decades. how about.. stunningly similar to the Vantage. How in any way is this stunning. They stretched a Vantage out and slapped passanger doors on it. WOW?

I'd say there was already proof out there, the Model S for example, or the XF and Passat CC if you're a bit looser with a fastback definition.

@Bobmarley - yes, wow. If you've read anything of automotive design and engineering, or ever seen a panamera, this is impressive. Not at all unlike the A5 sportback, it manages to take the existing design language and make it accommodate four doors flawlessly.

Makes the Bugatti, Porsche and Mercedes ones look third rate. And its not even going to be crazy fast. Just ample. Just perfect.
