Aston Martin Rapide – Click above for high-res image gallery

It isn't every day that Aston Martin comes out with a new car. And this isn't one of them, because the production version of the Rapide four-door saloon came out over a month ago already. But considering that the British sportscar-maker got by – just fine, thank you very much – on what essentially boiled down to a two-car line-up for several years, we'll gladly run with it a little longer. Because there are few cars on the road that are as sumptuously crafted or lustily styled as an Aston. And this is their first sedan in decades. So take a deep breath, poor yourself a dry martini, click on the thumbnails below, and take a stroll through the mega gallery of high-resolution images that Aston has released purely for your viewing enjoyment. We particularly like this one, which shows the high-dollar super saloon being used as an actual family car.

Looks exactly as one would expect from A-M...which is to say it looks stunning, Porsche, look out!

Stunning. Just absolutely stunning. Mr. Callum should be knighted or possibly even receive the Nobel prize for bringing such beauty to an automotive world filled with angry looking kitchen appliances.

I know I am in the minority here, but I think this design is terribly boring. I am normally a fan of Astons'. I even named one of my dogs Aston. But this looks like an Aston for very old men.

If I was in the market for an expensive sporting sedan, Maserati would get my money long before this. Although I don't have an appreciation for the Porsche, I at least find it interesting. Maybe in a few years when I need to drive Gertrude and Matilda down to the park to feed the ducks and reminisce about the good old days.

... and I'd win her over with the Vantage and get her to stay with the Rapide...

say Aston Martin! and BANG! you know we are talking about a work of art! Properly the most beautiful sedan with a hatch. Hot and Beautiful!
Makes the Bugatti, Porsche and Mercedes ones look third rate. And its not even going to be crazy fast. Just ample. Just perfect.

that to me is another version of the panaranma( however the retarded mexican word is spelled), but this Aston looks way better than the Porsche. Its a limo Aston, but somehow i like all Aston even though their been in the same path as Porsche, all Aston look kinda similar, but somehow they look nice, look esquisse

How many entitled trophy wives are gonna complain that it has a hatch and not a trunk?

I hate to say it but Porsche pretty much got their ass handed to them with this car.
