Unique Autosports South gets crazy custom-built automotive pool table

We see plenty of automotive-inspired products roll through our tip line, and most of them are pretty subtle: A logo here, a racing stripe there, a touch of carbon fiber or vulcanized rubber.... But "subtle" won't cut it for Unique Autosports, purveyors of blinged-out whips for the rich and famous. So for Unique's Miami showroom, they turned to Hurricane Custom Billiards of St. Petersburg, Florida, to create the one-of-a-kind pool table you see here.
The Unique Autosports pool table is built on a chromed steel frame and mounted on four giant shiny rims coated in ultra low-profile rubber, while the table top is covered in tournament-quality black felt and trimmed in black leather. It's even got a light kit installed capable of 1,000 different colors, in case the table would otherwise go unnoticed. Eight-Ball shifter, eat your heart out. Check it out in the gallery below, with our thanks to Keith for the tip.

These are the same idiot(s) that like to think bolting on a pair of 22s is customizing a car, and worthy of a TV show. My mom can bolt on a pair of rims.
Seriously, that show baffles me. Will Castro is a moron -- but a better business man than I.
...you know, maybe not. Maybe he's a genius and it's his clients that are morons.
Whatever, I hate the show.

I'm so with you. Will Castro is such a celebrity hounding hob-knobbing douche. This table , like just about everything UA does, is way cheesy and unimaginative. Just because it has chrome and blue lighting doesn't make it cool...

Word up, Fellas.

That's actually kind of impressive... At the very least I like the exposed pocketed-ball rails underneath.

Unique Autosports is the lamest of all custom car companies. All they do are rims, paint and samey stereos. Custom body work is out of the question all they do are bolt on body kits, the most customizing they do is in the interior but most of that is box bought parts. How is that unique? If there were any more irony in their name it would be criminal. They are cookie cutter 'custom' cars to the Nth degree.

This is kind of hot, maybe with different wheels.

Pic 9 clearly shows that they're not 'ultra-low-profile' tires.
Just wanted to point that out. Still a cool table.

It's amazing what influences the creative mind. Who would have guessed...
Tremendous amount of detail to put that together. (And then there are those that dis the wheel selection... Give us a break, armchair QB.)

Unique is not the worst.
What's the company that does the work for MTV's Pimp my Ride.
It is puzzling the amount of money people will spend for rims, 1000 watt stereo systems etc. but do little, if anything about upgrading performance.

That would be West Coast Customs. Bear in mind that the work they did on Pimp My Ride was controlled by MTV. They now have another show on TLC called Street Customs, where their work is more credible.

News flash, not everyone cares about having a car that goes fast. While I personally wouldn't care for all the TVs, and the chrome rims and stuff, but there are people who do. I'm sure WCC(or GAS) can do anything want done to your car. Whether it's performance or visual mods.

What they DID (no longer, it was ruining their rep I think) on MTV was shoddy and super cheesy, but if you've seen the other show these guys do have some talent, and a bit more class. I'm thinking of the Range Rover Coupe in particular. That was stunning.

That's semi cool looking, if not a little gaudy, and probably FIERCELY heavy.

That table is hideous! And why wouldn't you set up the wheels so that they are at the four corners like a car? Well, these guys probably put TV screens in the back of the REAR seat headrests so there is no logic to their thinking.
