If you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all eh?Love it or hate it, at the end the day this car will sell. Especially to those who look for a car based on features and performance, not how it looks. I own a 2007 mazda 3 and I know for sure that I will definately purchase this vechile because the options and performance it offers at a rediculously reasonable price. Not only that but hardcored mazda fans (myself included) will buy a mazda no matter what because they know they make very good cars for great prices. There are forums dedicated to this car alone filled with ppl dying to get their hands on a next gen 3. Anyway I see some outright retarded and ugly looking cars driving on the road everyday, some far more hideous than what ppl feel this vechile is. It's plain and simple if you don't like then don't buy it and be done with it.

I was never keen on the outgoing heavy looking speed rims but these look like they are lifted off the base trim Mazda 5
You know, if I take my hand, and cover up the smiley-face grille... the car looks really good.
Then I remove my hand. And gasp.
Mazda, what have you done?
I'll be keeping my 07 Speed 3 for a while. I'll wait a couple years to see them upgrade the front and engine at least (2.5L MZR DISI). Right now this is the same speed3 as the outgoing model for everything except the body kit and interior.

April 12 2009 at 11:12 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just saw a review on a Canadian review show. The woman said she liked it, it looked like a car from the Pixar show "Cars"....
Barf.
I totally agree with half of what she said. It looks like something from Pixar "Cars". But that is exactly what is wrong with it.
I don't want a goofy cartoon car. I would rather have bland, than goofy.
It has really been a terrible year for styling. Ford Focus, Acura lineup, Subaru Lineup, Mazda 3, Bug Eyed Murano...
I start to wonder if Ford will wreck the Fiesta styling before it arrives. "Hey Ugly and goofy is in, we have to follow the trend..."
"Yes, it's a beautiful car, ...but...It's SMILING at me."
::Chop!::
actually, the front reminds me of the Kool-Aid Man.
Just when I thought the new TL was the ugliest refresh in a long time.. here comes this alien. I don't understand why car makers are bulging out lights from the main body of the car the past few years. I can't stand that.
April 11 2009 at 11:53 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI guess Canadians will continue to buy it in droves. Mazda seems to be a popular brand there.
April 11 2009 at 11:41 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt does look like some sort of snow plow...
