Update: Arden releases details and pics of AJ21

With the M5-battling Jaguar XFR looming high on the horizon, German tuning house Arden's release of its new AJ21 comes at the perfect time. The XF-based performance sedan, details of which have been trickling out for several months now, offers a range of modifications to give the sharp cat that extra edge.
As you can see from these new images, Arden's given the Jag's appearance a serious makeover, much to the benefit of its aerodynamics. The front end has been thoroughly redesigned to include a bigger grille and vents to help the engine get the air it needs, while the front spoiler keeps things planted. Around back the diffuser and discreet spoiler keeps the tail nailed as well, with side skirts helping along the way and integrated vents to help cool the rear brakes. The package also includes a revised suspension and 21-inch forged alloys, but the real treat is underhood where Arden has worked its magic on the entire range of engines available on the XF. The range-topping supercharged V8 has been bored out from 4.2 liters to 4.5 and is aided in producing 500 horsepower by a custom crankshaft, con rods and pistons. The same enlargement can be done to the naturally-aspirated V8 for 380 hp, with the 2.7-liter diesel six tuned to 250 hp instead of the stock 207. Customers can also specify custom interior options, but to our taste, we'd leave the leaper off the hood. Check out the pair of new images in the gallery below.

Now i see it. That Jaguar on the hood looks like a Penis, and a small one at that. That Bill Ford leaves his legacy everywhere.

How is this Bill Ford's fault? I know the guy was lame but come on! The XF is lightyears ahead of the S-Type.

Uglier AND it has the leaper?

This is why photoshop designers fail at real world design. The finished product resembles the drawing, but the outcome in reali life just looks bad.

Am I seeing strings of LED lights like Audi is using? I have to say I do not find them to be attractive on this car or the Audis. If anything they look out of place.

i kind of like it...'cept for the dog willy on the hood....
but why does it seem every manufacturer now have to have a chrome bar on the back of the car? chevy, mercury, lexus mazda. i cant stand the token chrome plated plastic.

Don't like the "leaper" and the LEDs look like an afterthought. Anyone else notice the ducts for the rear brakes are different on the real car (pics 1 & 2) vs. the illustration (pics 3 & 4). Better that what they had Photoshopped, for sure.

You guys are missing it altogether! That's not a hood ornament - it's the handle to open and close the hood (or is that bonnet?). You simply grab hold of it like Robin Williams grabbed the statue (by the erect penis) in the movie "The Birdcage". See, simple!!!

Right after that other leaper story, haha. The leaper looks better since it's closer to the grill, but it's still awkward. Otherwise it looks pretty decent.
And Jaguars had chrome in the back for while, which included the 80s XJ6.

Sure. -You go Arden! Try and improve on an Ian Callum design; and good luck with that.
I'd call up Mansory too; they probs. have so many great tips, you'll have a line of Chavs around the block waiting to swap fake gold teeth for one.

I think it looks great front and back. Minus the stoopid leaping cat.
