TranscriptZAC PALMER: So the Supra actually has a pretty unique hood latch. You just pull the lever twice. And then you don't-- instead of having to go fishing around under here for a latch, you just pull it right on open. And, boom, open hydraulically. You still have a backup, but-- no, here we are.
Here's the inline 6. See, it has a big old Toyota engine cover on it. But this is still the three-liter single turbo inline 6 from BMW. 335 horsepower, 365 pound feet of torque in this, guys. Toyota says it'll get to 60 miles-per-hour in 4.1 seconds. We totally believe them in that.
BMW is even known for underrating its engines. And from our first drive impressions, James Riswick, our west coast editor, totally thinks that it does in time. It is a quick, quick car. OK, yeah. So, obviously, we all know BMW provided the engine for the Supra.
And so, obviously, we're going to see BMW logos on it because Toyota hasn't removed them. So we can see BMW written on a belt down their. BMW on this control module here. Let's see where else. Where else can we find BMW logos around here? There's one. This is actually a sticker with a QR code on it, on that hose.
Does this come off easily? Yeah, it does. [GRUNTING] See any other BMW logos under their? There's the beast itself. Bearing all her glory without the massive engine cover. I wish these would go away. It's not that pretty, but it's definitely prettier than some piece of plastic.
