The 2022 Lincoln Navigator interior largely looks the same, but there are some key technology updates and new design themes for the Black Label range-topping trim level. The standard touchscreen increases from 10 inches to 13.2 and now has a widescreen orientation. It runs Ford’s Sync 4 tech interface, but is reskinned for Lincoln and has some unique functionality due to that widescreen orientation. The available back seat entertainment system now runs Amazon Fire TV and is Alexa capable. In this video, we also touch on the stunning new Central Park Black Label design theme with its unique Urban Green leather color and open pore wood trim embossed in gold.

JAMES RISWICK: This is west coast editor James Riswick in the updated 2022 Lincoln Navigator interior. Now, the main, functional upgrade is this, a 13.2 inch touch screen. It is running Sync 4, the latest Ford infotainment system, but it is skinned specifically for Lincoln and this wide screen orientation is unique to Lincoln as well.

Now, the head up display has been redesigned. It's a little hard to tell, really, but it has been. And then this bar right here, well, this indicates that this has new Lincoln Active Glide. Well, that's Lincoln's name for Ford BlueCruise.

So it's mostly automated highway driving system and displays for that show up in the all digital instrument panel, as well as the HUD. And that thing right there is what is scanning your eyes to make sure you're actually looking at the road. Now, in the back, these are touch screens now and they also have, as you can see here, a variety of streaming services and other entertainment choices.

You can both stream if you have in-car Wi-Fi or you can download things ahead of time and this is also Amazon Alexa compatible. You do have a remote control down there. Then there's another new touch screen, 5.8 inches, for the rear seat controls. These second row seats are heated and ventilated standard and optional massage, as you can see here. And now let's talk about this color scheme. Now, this is a Black Label, top of the line, and this is the new, quote, "theme" for 22.

It's called "Central Park" and it is distinctive for its urban green color. It's pretty fantastic. And your Central Park New York theme ones are this. You can see the kind of New York skyline inspired in the perforations of the seats. It's pretty cool. And then here in the wood trim, etched in gold is the New York grid system, plus a map of Central Park. And that goes all the way over there as well, and then here on the center console.

This is really just a brilliant piece of graphic design. It's just it's so much more than the usual just slab of wood. I mean, there's a slab of wood, so you get an idea of how this is elevating the interior. It's really special.

And again, this just looks fantastic. So again, this is the "Central Park" theme. There's also a new Invitation theme, which is pretty much just black with some interesting details in it itself. And this also pairs with an exterior color called Manhattan Green, which is unique to the Black Label. So there you have it, updates for the 2022 Lincoln Navigator.
