2021 Volkswagen Passat
The Passat is the largest passenger car in the Volkswagen line-up. It has all the refinements and technology expected of a sophisticated German vehicle, but is now built in the USA specifically for the North American driver. The Passat is offered as a front-wheel drive, four-door sedan. Power is supplied by a 174-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and available shift paddles. Trim specific standard equipment includes 17- 18- or 19-inch aluminum wheels, heated mirrors, a power sunroof, LED headlights and daytime running lights, heated front bucket seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, SiriusXM HD satellite radio, 9 Fender speakers, a 400W amplifier, Bluetooth, a 6.3-inch touchscreen display and VW App-Connect (w/Apple CarPlay and Android Auto). Safety features such as six airbags, a rear view camera, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist and Automatic Post-Collision braking a Blind Spot Monitor, Front Assist w/Autonomous Emergency Braking, Rear Traffic Alert and Pedestrian Monitoring are standard while a Lane Keeping System (Lane Assist) and a Park Distance Control w/Park Assist are available. The Volkswagen Passat carries over into 2021 with only minor changes, one of which is the removal of the SEL trim.
