The Forte is Kia's offering in the competitive Compact market segment. Attractive styling, pricing and feature content are what make this car standout. The Forte is available in sedan or hatchback body styles. Both feature Kia's distinctive family grille. The Forte is available in three trims; LX, S, EX and SX (hatchback only). The LX and S use a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder and a six-speed manual, or an available six-speed automatic transmission. EX is equipped with a 164-hp 2.0L and six-speed automatic. SX features a 201-hp 1.6L turbo four-cylinder and a six-speed manual, or an available six-speed automatic transmission. The Forte comes nicely equipped with standard items such as; traction control, stability control, side and side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes with brake assist, Bluetooth, trip computer and a tire pressure monitoring system. Dual-zone automatic climate control, HID headlights, LED taillights, power heated and ventilated leather seats, and a power sunroof are just some of the available features. The Forte is a carry-over for 2018.
