2014 Volkswagen Touareg Hybrid

The Touareg Hybrid is Volkswagen's first production gas-electric hybrid model. The hybrid powertrain gives buyers a third motive choice in the Touareg family. The Touareg Hybrid is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 and 47-hp electric motor for a combined power output of 380-hp. An 8-speed automatic puts the power to the ground through a 4MOTION all-wheel drive system. Regenerative braking helps to recharge the battery, and the automatic start-stop system conserves fuel when the vehicle is stopped.
