2010 Lexus LX 570

There's only one trim level for the LX 570, and with all it's got on board, it's hard to imagine wanting for any more. It starts with a 5.7-liter V8 engine capable of 383 horsepower. The engine utilizes Toyota's Dual Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence, which increases torque at low speeds and horsepower at high speeds for optimum performance.

The limited-slip center differential works with the active traction control to minimize tire slippage on slick surfaces. For more traction, the differential can be locked for full-on off-road conditions. The LX 570 also has Crawl Control, which maintains a slow, steady speed over uneven terrain without the driver having to worry about applying the gas or brakes. His attention can focus completely on steering while Crawl Control takes care of the wheel speed.

As for safety, the LX 570 features vehicle stability control, anti-lock brakes and an available pre-collision system detects an imminent collision and helps the driver apply maximum braking force when needed. Active front headrests and a 10-airbag system keep occupants safer in the event of a crash and rain-sensing windshield wipers help maintain a clear view, no matter the weather.

The interior offers standard Dark Gray or Cashmere leather and walnut wood trim, though other colors and woods are available. The multi-function steering wheel controls audio, telephone, voice recognition and the multi-information display. The Lexus Personalized Settings can be adjusted for door locks, illuminated entry, power windows, moonroof operation and more.
Push-button start/stop is standard, as is 4-zone climate control with air filter and smog sensor, moonroof, power everything (including tailgate closer) and heated 14-way driver's seat and 12-way passenger seat. The power-sliding second row of seating has a 60/40 split, while the power-folding third row splits 50/50. A navigation system with color display is standard, as is a 9-speaker sound system with XM, USB and iPod ports.

With all this standard equipment, what options can there possibly be? 22-inch alloy wheels are available, as is a wide-view monitor system with parking assist. An audiophile Mark Levinson sound system is also available and a cool box can be mounted in the center console.
