- All right, we're here with Mini project manager Vinny Kong. And he's going to give us a brief overview of the MOG integration in the Mini connected system.

VINNY KONG: So we are announcing here today, in Nashville, Tennessee, the official collaboration with MOG. We are partnering with them to be our latest app in our Mini connected system, which is a factory option that allows you to have access to your apps in your vehicle. So once you've selected the Mini connected icon on the vehicle display screen, you go ahead and click on it.

And with your iPhone pre-loaded with the app that'll be available in the iTunes store, MOG can be selected, simply pushing down on the joystick we have in the center console. And whatever songs you already had in your queue will automatically play. Now, you can also do some pretty cool things here-- for instance, accessing your songs that you've already downloaded in your profile.

Now, again, because your app is activated on your phone, and you've already entered in your profile information, it already knows your account information, like you do on your home computer. So you can go ahead and find your downloads there or search for a new song straight from the car. So you can look by artist, by album, or by song, and of course, see right away what you've already got going on, and of course, look at some of your previous searches.

So for instance, if you wanted to look for a song that you like, simply type it in by using the joystick and selecting something that you want to look for. So for instance, if you want to see-- get something like "The Reason"-- and this will pull up automatically every song that MOG has on their search-- on their search software, you can see kind of what you got here, all kinds of things that come up, just like in a computer.

So here's a pretty interesting one. Let's look for "Is She the Reason" by Destiny's Child. And this is purely random. I kind of like it, so I'm going to go ahead and select that. MOG then goes online through the iPhone, pulls down the album cover art, and it starts playing the song that you like. And then you can simply use the steering wheel controls like you normally would and increase the volume, move forward to other tracks that you've got.

And if you have a whole bunch of other things that you want to access, you simply go ahead and go back and forth within the album for any song that you want. Going back to the vehicle, you can find out more information about MOG. And you have other options too. So for instance, you can get your music going on when you're in offline mode.

When you're in radio mode, you can stick to all the songs that automatically come from your MOG radio based on that Artist Only that you've done a search on. So for instance, this would be only Destiny's Child. You can do that. But if you don't want to want to, want to hear other things like it, go ahead and select Similar Artists.

And just like on your home computer, you get music that is shown in the same kind of genre. You can also clear your queue and start all over again if you want, shuffle, and repeat. Going back on the joystick, you can look at some other things. You could add this song, just like you would at your home computer, to your favorites. And again, like the steering wheel controls, you can go to your previous or your next song. So basically, that's everything that we've got from MOG.

- All right, thank you so much. This is Jeremy [INAUDIBLE], and this has been an Autoblog Short Cut.
