We show how the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk's height-adjustable Quadra-Lift air suspension system lifts the Grand Cherokee to a maximum 11.3 inches of ground clearance.
Transcript- Hey, everybody. This is Jeremy from "Autoblog." And we are with the brand-new Jeep Grand Cherokee. This one's the Trailhawk edition. So that means it is, as you'd expect, trail-rated. It's got "trail" right in the name.
What I want to show you right now is the suspension that raises and lowers. We have it in the lowest spot right now. I've got a water bottle with me as a standard typical-size water bottle. Barely fits sideways. Obviously doesn't fit vertically.
And we'll get in. I'll show you how to raise the suspension. Right here, foot on the brake. We'll go up into a normal ride height.
This mid-level here is about where it defaults to right when you get in and leave everything on auto. We'll keep raising it.
You can definitely feel it from inside the vehicle. I don't know if you can tell on video. You probably can't. But it makes a little bit of a noise. You hear kind of things pumping and whirring around.
All right. Soon as that stops beeping, we know we are in. Stops blinking, we know we're in the highest Off Road 2 ride height.
Let's get out and take a look. [BEEPS] All right. As you can probably tell, we are way, way up from where we were. Again, the water bottle, I can now stick it in inside on top.
What that means is we have way more ground clearance than we had at the start. Great when you're driving off road and need to drive over some big obstacles. In fact, if I back up here, you can see just how high the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is sitting in its highest Off Road 2 suspension setting.
