TranscriptEDDIE SABATINI: Hey, Autobloggers, Eddie Sabatini here. You're joining me from the back seat of the 2018 Mercedes Maybach S 560 4MATIC. So you can probably notice it's a little dark outside and in here. That's because what I wanted to show you today was a little bit about one of my favorite features on this vehicle, and that's the lighting, the ambient lighting, which you can see now here.
On the-- you got the dash upfront, the trim, the floorboards, the-- the side here in the back, and the-- and in the floor here down there, on the side here by me, on the handles there around the-- around the speakers, and around the speakers upfront as well. Just really all around. I'm a huge fan of this.
And this is all highly customizable, as you might expect from a vehicle this decadent, which the Maybach certainly is. Let's-- OK, let's show you a little bit more of what I love here. Let's-- first, let's go up top here and see these two lighting buttons. First, let's show you-- let's show-- you hit this button here, and it-- it's going to illuminate the entire back seat. And you can see just how bright it can get with this light.
You got the vanity mirror lights up there, the-- this reading light down here in the-- the floor. We got lights under the-- the driver and passengers front seats. You've got this overhead light here. Get this camera around. Apologize. There you go. Just incredibly bright. All right, let's shut that off because it's a little too bright. I'm tired, and I want a little bit of mood, a little bit ambience, but I'm not feeling this color scheme.
So how-- how do I switch it up? Great question. You-- first, you reach down here, this remote-- if you can't see it, I apologize. You turn the remote on. There, it illuminates, and then all your screen lights up, the name of the vehicle in case you've forgotten what-- that you're in a Maybach. And then on the screen here, you've got ambient light. You click that, and I'm just using this track pad here.
And let's see, all right, we've got Red Moon is what we're on now, all right? I like Red Moon. It's OK. Let's-- let's check this next one out. What is this? Red Moon. Coming down to Fire Red. Here's Fire Red. It's OK. It doesn't really show up on camera as red as it does in person. Apologize for that. Dawn Blue, this looks a little bit more purple on camera. I'm not a fan of that.
Sun yellow. That's cheerful, I suppose. Jungle green, oh, that's a little-- little nauseating. Looks better in person, I promise. Glacier Blue, it looks a little white on camera. Let's go up. I know this one looks really good here. Purple Sky, that looks great in person and on camera. Huge fan. Maybe you have a little Prince going. Take a nap. Get to your destination in style.
OK, let's see, what else can I show you? The lighting. I think that's really about it. I'll come back with more of these videos on the Maybach soon.
