Several outlets are reporting the death of Dave Mirra at 41. Mirra was a famed BMX rider, extremely successful X Games competitor, and for a time a rally driver for both the Subaru Rally Team, and later, in a Mini, in Global Rallycross.
According a report filed by WITN, a news outlet in Mirra's home state of North Carolina, Mirra was discovered in a truck with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
