Senior editor Greg Migliore takes you to Cresto, CO, for the first drive of the Mercedes-Benz Metris. But before he gets behind the wheel, he shows you Mercedes' unique brand of 'camping.'

GREG MIGLIORE: Hey, everybody. It's Greg Migliore reporting from Cresto, Colorado. I'm here to drive the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van, which has been out for a while, and the new Metris, which is a mid-sized van. But you know, you'll read my review, and you'll see what that's like. But I'd like to tell you a little bit about what Cresto, Colorado is like.
It's pretty cool here. They decided to do the trip here to just sort of play up the rugged capabilities of the work vans. And I think this area, you know, it definitely excites you.
Upon arrival here, I had a choice. I could get a cabin, an RV, or a tent. My first thought is I'll take the cabin. That was not the right answer.
I took the tent kind of by default, and it's great. It's what-- you might've have heard the term "glamping." That's exactly what I'm doing right now. My tent has a nice floor covered in some sort of animal skin. It's very comfortable.
Big, at least I think it's a king-sized bed with probably like 300-count thread sheets or more. It's great. Shower, running water, electricity, and a heater. So it's pretty great here. It's really comfortable accommodations. The area we're in is probably closest to Dunton, Colorado, which is another small sort of community here in the Rocky Mountains.
So yeah. In case you're wondering, the vans drive great as well. Did a little bit of off-roading today. It was a lot of fun. But they're also-- they're work vans, so they're strong on the road and on the highway.
