According to Ghost Games, the narrative in NFS will play a bigger role than ever before. Gamers will be able to make their own choices as they play through the story, with the icons influencing each player's style and reputation. Two of these icons should be instantly recognizable to Autoblog readers. Magnus Walker is the ultimate Porsche-phile and will feature as the game's "speed icon." He'll be joined by "style icon" Ken Block, rally driver, DC Shoes founder, and general Gymkhana maniac.
The other icons include Morohoshi-san, star of Luke Huxham's Underground Hero: Love To Hate Me; Nakai-san, the founder of the RWB tuning company; and the Risky Devil drift crew. You can get a taste of the assorted icons and their characters – not to mention scenes of both Walker's vintage 911 and Block's awesome Hoonicorn – in the trailer below that was released for the 2015 Gamescom conference. Need For Speed will be available for Windows PC, Sony Playstation 4, and Xbox One. It will hit stores on Nov. 3.
