Police rescue woman from car moments before explosion

Police in New Jersey saved a woman's life last Thursday when they dragged her unconscious body from her burning, wrecked car moments before it exploded.

Police dashcam footage shows officers in Kinnelon, New Jersey, racing to the scene of an accident where they found a 2006 Toyota Solara convertible flipped over in a ditch and the driver, Dawn Milosky, unconscious. Before the crash, a private citizen had called to report a motorist driving erratically, according to PIX 11.

After two minutes of struggling to pull Milosky from her wrecked vehicle, Kinnelon police officers Mark Ehrenberg and Ricky Ferriola dragged her from the flipped car moments before it burst into flames.

Milosky was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with an open container of alcohol, reckless driving and failure to stay in the right lane. She was airlifted to a local hospital, where police say she is doing okay.
