SEBASTIAN BLANCO: Hey, everybody. It's Sebastian Blanco here with another Autoblog Daily Driver. Today, I'm in the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sport. It's been a good car this week. This car has a two liter, four cylinder gas engine that puts out 173 horsepower and 154 pound-feet of torque. It's been great on the highway. It hasn't been-- you know, it's not in any way an amazing accelerator, doesn't have any sort of the intensity that I'm used to with driving electric vehicles a lot. But for the things that you need it to do to get you around traffic or past trucks or whatever, it's been fine. Nothing to complain about there. It's officially rated at 28 miles per gallon overall, 24 in the city, 35 on the highway, and I've been doing mostly highway driving with it.

One funny thing, being on the road a long time the other day, you know, if you're sitting for a long time, your back gets a little sore, and the seats do have lumbar support, which is nice. Adjustable, you can beef that up with the button on the side of the chair. But you know, you want to sometimes kind of lean forward a little bit. And as you can see here, this car is really short, and so I just hit my head. Compared to a lot other cars I have, including my personal Honda Fit, that just-- this is unacceptable. You really can't adjust your seating position even for a brief moment just to kind of relieve some of the tension on your back. So I'm not that tall, I'm 5' 9" and if you're like me and like to lean forward sometimes, don't think this car will treat you right because it just won't.

This trim line cost $24,735. All those bells and whistles that this car has include iPod interface, Bluetooth, nav system, backup camera. Does not have adaptive cruise control, does have heated seats, which has been nice in the wintertime here. I really like the looks of this car. I really liked the last gen Elantra better, and the Sonata as well, but this one's good. I like the rear 3/4 the most. I think the headlights on this car are pretty elegant, they look good at night as well. Overall in the few days that I've had it, in my 300 or so miles, I've enjoyed this car. For Autoblog and Autoblog Green, this is Sebastian Blanco with another Daily Driver.
