Paramount Pictures has been working for two years on plans to open a theme park about 45 minutes outside of London, called, would you believe, Paramount London. The corporate entity behind the project, London Resort Company Holdings, has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide that will allow the park to incorporate "famous BBC programs and characters." That means parkgoers might be able to enjoy a Star Trek adventure alongside one from Sherlock and Dr. Who with their Jurassic World dinosaurs.

It also means we could get a permanent place to enjoy Top Gear exhibits. We say "might" and "could be" because none of the parties involved have commented on what BBC properties will make the cut. For instance, Thorpe Park in Surrey has already announced plans to open a Dark Ride in 2016 thought to be based on a BBC property like Dr. Who. We'll wait for details, but we'd be surprised if Paramount didn't get the nod for something Top Gear related. We wouldn't complain about a Flying Circus on the premises, either...
