A California man investigating a commotion outside of his Bel-Air home Wednesday evening found his wife calmly sitting in her car, only her car was on its side.
Benjamin Neufeld was in his kitchen when he heard loud scraping noises and the mummer of a gathering crowd. He came out to find his wife's blue Honda laying on its driver's side.
"There was my wife in her car, calm as a cucumber," Benjamin told KTLA5. "Eventually they fished her out and towed the car away"
Elizabeth Neufeld, 85, was unhurt in the accident. She told police her car flipped after a slow speed collision with a curb at just the right angle. Witnesses told NBC Los Angeles the pair stood around chatting with onlookers and even posed for a picture while they waited for emergency crews to rescue Elizabeth.
