From May 11th through the 22nd, ten electric Renault Fluence Z.E. sedans will escort actors and film professionals to the foot of the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. In near-total silence. The Renault Fluence Z.E.'s tour of Cannes comes just a couple of months ahead of its launch in France, Israel and Denmark.
Actors, film professionals and other celebs will be able to reserve Renault vehicles during the Festival and test them out on the Boulevard de la Croisette, a prominent road in Cannes. In addition to the electric Fluences, Renault will make available vehicles like the Latitude and Mégane Coupé Cabriolet Floride, a limited-edition models that pays homage to the Renault Floride from the 1960s.
Charging stations have been installed in the Palais des Festivals parking area to juice up the battery-powered Fluences and will remain in place after the Festival for local plug-in vehicle owners to use as needed.
