Video: WSJ lets you ride along in the Nissan Leaf

Nissan Leaf – Click above to watch video after the jump

It's one thing to read a review of a vehicle, it's entirely different when you get the chance to jump in the back seat and go along for the ride. This is not an actual ride though, more like a virtual drive along. Wall Street Journal had the opportunity to pilot the Leaf around Nissan's Oppama facility in Japan and shot the whole ordeal so you can experience what it's like to ride in a production Leaf. The brief video gives you a feel for the car and the electric experience that comes along with it. It captures the near-silent acceleration, gives you a peak under the hood and a glance at the Leaf's futuristic interior. Unfortunately, you'll have to sit through an annoying ad and listen close to decipher the heavy accent of the WSJ reviewer, but we think it's worth it. Follow along after the jump to cruise around in the Nissan Leaf.
