Roehr reveal catches electric superbike naked

While not yet the sleek slab of speedy sweetness promised by a graphic we managed to lift from their website (right), the upcoming electric super bike from Roehr Motorcycles is nevertheless still under development and scheduled to make a TTXGP appearance later in the year. Perhaps even better, they are still planning on making deliveries to customers later this summer and have just confirmed Hollywood Electrics in Los Angeles and Ethical Approach in San Jose as dealers.

The company would have like to have started the season with the other dozen teams who've been announced for the debut of the North American TTXGP series. But while the mechanicals are said to be completed, the bodywork is still not quite a "go," as evidenced by a couple photos released into the wild. While perhaps not a vision of loviness for some, the bike's current, decidedly naked form affords us an opportunity to see yet another strategy for packing motors, batteries and control equipment into the small piece of real estate that is a motorbike frame.
