Chevy General Manager, Ed Peper, will speak on Alternative Fuels at a Motor Press Guild meeting on January 8. Ed will also show off some of Chevy's green cars including a fuel-cell Equinox, a two-fuel mode Silverado, E85 Impala, Malibu Hybrid, Tahoe Hybrid and the Chevy Volt. Will Ed come with the new, new Chevy Volt previewed in the video above? Chevy General Manager Ed Peper to Speak About New Alternative Fuel Projects


Motor Press Guild's First Meeting of the Year January 8, 2008

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Motor Press Guild (MPG), America's largest professional automotive media association, announces Ed Peper, General Manager of General Motors' Chevrolet Division will be the featured speaker at the year's first luncheon. On Tuesday, January 8, Peper will address members and guests regarding Chevrolet's exciting new product lineup including some of their forthcoming alternative-fuel projects bringing fuel-efficiency back to the consumer through energy diversity. Peper will also provide an inside look at Chevrolet's future fuel-sipping line-up, including: a fuel-cell Equinox, a two-fuel mode Silverado, E85 Impala, Malibu Hybrid, Tahoe Hybrid (current Green Car of the Year) and the much anticipated Chevy Volt.

Peper was named General Manager of Chevrolet Motor Division in 2005. Under his guidance, Chevrolet has launched more than a dozen new-vehicle advertising campaigns. Throughout his career, Ed held many sales and marketing positions with Cadillac and Chevrolet, mostly working with dealers as well as Regional General Manager for GM's Northeast Region. His career also includes a stint as Vice President of Sales for Saab Cars, USA. Peper grew up in Detroit and began his automotive career at GM in 1984 as a Cadillac sales representative.
