VIDEO: Maximum Bob provides tour of Malibu design details

While the new Camaro may set enthusiasts heart aflutter, the reality is that from a business perspective the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu is probably the most important car in the Chevrolet lineup until the debut of the Volt in a few years. Among passenger cars the highest volume models on the market right now are the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord, and the new Malibu falls right in the heart of this segment. Although the Volt and CTS may have wowed us more at Detroit, they are both unobtainable to most of us and the Malibu caught our attention with it's handsome proportions, attractive sheet metal and well-executed interior. If GM can manage to assemble these cars properly, it could be a huge hit over the next couple of years. In the meantime, Bob Lutz goes in front of the camera again to provide a tour of all the little design details that make the Malibu so attractive. Check out the video after the jump.
