A pair of US-based Chrysler engineers died in a road accident in Spain last week. Mary Shams and Yaritza Bello were part of the Chrysler front wheel drive platform development team and were testing a Dodge Avenger near Seville, Spain when they collided with another vehicle. Details about what happened are unavailable, but Spanish police are still investigating.
The Avenger will be launched in the European market soon and Spain is a common hot weather testing site for European manufacturers.
