We took an
early look at the EcoV concept last summer, and now the company is ready to begin production but the company didn't announce startup dates. A news release, however, did put out a call for more investors to build about a 1,000 units a year. When financing is arranged, the EcoV could ramp up production in nine months.
Designed as a neighborhood electric vehicle (NEV), the EcoV starts at under $10,000 but options can take the price to $11,500. Range is 25-40 miles.
