When you consider the enormous mileage Class 8 trucks log every year, even the smallest improvements in fuel economy make a significant difference. International's latest-generation flagship offering, the ProStar, is rolling off the line as scheduled and will be delivered to dealers soon. International says the rollout will be gradual to ensure quality. Even the assembly line was upgraded to accommodate the new features on the tractor. The ProStar was unveiled last Spring. Its streamlined shape will help fuel economy, and it's a pretty damn nice looking truck in an industry that hasn't paid much attention to style. Also, the engines will adhere to the stricter 2007 emissions regulations.
