Energy documentary planned just in time for 2008 elections

Spurred by interest in "Who Killed the Electric Car" and "An Inconvenient Truth," another energy documentary is in the planning and fund-raising stages. The New Energy Movement and New Energy Congress want to make the New Energy movie an issue in the 2008 elections. The film will showcase renewable energy technologies not just as a means to reduce dependency on fossil fuels but also also as social mechanism to fight poverty and defuse political tensions around the world.
