Detroit Auto Show: Detroit News Readers' Choice Awards

Every year The Detroit News assembles a panel of readers to judge the NAIAS cars for the Readers' Choice Awards. The 100-member group has spoken for the 2007 show and, for the most part, the results are predictable. We won't spoil the "Best of Show" winner for you, but you can be sure it wasn't Ford's Airstream concept. It also wasn't the Interceptor.

The biggest surprise would be the Jeep Trailhawk taking top votes, not in the "Most Awesome Off-Road" category, but in the "Most Innovative" category. The Trailhawk helped Chrysler take five of the 12 categories.
