Amphibious Hydra Spyder can run on ethanol

Stories about the Hydra Spyder have been around for a year, but this is the first I've seen where the vehicle is reported to run on ethanol. This Associated Press piece closed out by saying the amphibious sports car gets 16 to 18mpg on premium gas while cruising on land. And then there's a sidenote that it will run on an "ethanol mix" without modifications. Whether that's a 10 percent mix of ethanol or E85, I don't know. The company's website doesn't shed any light, although I now know I can order the $155,000 vehicle and get nitrous as an option.
