Daihatsu readies D-Compact X-Over concept for Paris debut

Daihatsu will be displaying this D-Compact X-Crossover concept at the Paris Motor Show later this month along with the very xB-like Materia multi-purpose vehicle. The D-Compact X-Over is supposed to reflect the idea of "harmony with nature" and keeps the greenery outside in clear view at all times by using a glass roof that extends from the windshield all the way back over the rear seats. The design was penned by Italdesign and, while pleasant enough, seems like it would get lost easily in a parking lot full of concept vehicles (i.e. it's just not very distinctive).
