Freedom from Foreign Oil tractorcade shows off biodiesel

Not all farmers are rabid supporters of ethanol, the way it sometimes seems in pro-ethanol speeches. At least, a few people who can drive a tractor in Minnesota know that biodiesel is a fine biofuel and want to share that knowledge with others. The AP is reporting on the third annual Biodiesel Tractorcade, which drives a parade of tractors powered by biofuels, mostly biodiesel, through small towns in Minnesota. The tractorcade left the fairgrounds in Redwood Falls, MN on the last day of July for a two-day trip that ends today and will go through southern Minnesota promoting the theme "Freedom From Foreign Oil". The tractorcade should arrive at the Redwood County Farmfest today.
