Julia Roberts promotes biofuels

Julia Roberts has agreed to become a spokesperson for Earth Biofuels, a manufacturer of biodiesel and ethanol. Earth Biofuels already has some superstar support, with Morgan Freeman and Willie Nelson on their board of directors. The first task for Roberts will be to join the push to get the 500,000 U.S. diesel-burning school buses to switch to clean-burning biodiesel in order to reduce emissions and greenhouse gases and improve the health of kids who are often more susceptible to pollution. Roberts portrayed Erin Brockovich in an Oscar-winning performance. Roberts wishes she could be more like the character she portrayed, fighting relentlessly for what she believed in. I wonder if we will see her drink biodiesel any time soon, just like Daryl Hannah.
