Ceres, Noble, team up to grow future fuel sources

Ceres, Inc., a biotechnology firm specializing in plant crops, and The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, a non-profit organization working in agricultural research and development, have announced they will be collaborating to develop future crops for energy use such as ethanol. Ceres will have access to Noble's switchgrass crops for genetic research while the Foundation looks into methods of growing and marketing future crops. Joint projects include mapping plant genomes, breeding, and researching other biomass products.
