The great MG Rover selloff begins as receivers auction assets

As the fallout and blame surrounding the collapse of MG Rover, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the firm in charge of divvying up the automaker's assets, has set about auctioning off MG Racing assets in around 900 separate lots.

Everything from automotive parts to pit lane mopeds, complete race cars and transporters, tools, t-shirts and personalized bone china... it's all on the block. The auction includes a 225 mph land-speed-record station wagon, among other oddities.
